Brandon L. Peak, a partner in Butler Wooten & Peak LLP, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Visitors of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. The Board is an advisory group to Mercer Law Dean Cathy Cox.
Brandon graduated magna cum laude and first in his class from Mercer Law in 2004. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from The Citadel in 2001. Brandon is a trial lawyer who handles cases across a wide array of practice areas. Brandon has successfully handled product liability, personal injury, whistleblower, trucking, and class action cases in state and federal courts throughout the nation.
Brandon and his wife Brooke, who is also a 2004 graduate of Mercer Law, are the proud parents of four young children. He is very active in his children’s activities and in his community. Brandon is a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Pastor Parrish Relations Committee and a member of the School Board.
Brandon has served as President of the Columbus Bar Association, Chattahoochee Bar Association, and Columbus Trial Lawyers Association. He is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
