L’Zandra V. Jones

L’Zandra “Zan” Jones, is an associate attorney at Butler Wooten & Peak LLP. She works at the firm’s Atlanta office and represents individuals and their families in a variety of serious injury cases.

Zan was born and raised in Douglas, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and her Juris Doctor degree from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, graduating magna cum laude and in the top 10% of her class. While in law school, Zan served as a Managing Editor of the Mercer Law Review and both a member and student coach in Mercer’s moot court program. During her second year, Zan represented Mercer as a member of the Georgia Intrastate Team. During her time as a student coach, her moot court team placed first at Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Regional Competition in Charleston, South Carolina. Also during her third year, Zan was inducted into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society and Order of Barristers.

In her spare time, Zan enjoys spending time with her family and giving back to her community.
